Recently I read in a book about audio equipment, that power supplies are vital to the sound quality. While retrieving more on this matter I found PD creative and ordered the BLUESOUND NODE, NODE X – SUPER LOW-NOISE PSU UPGRADE KIT V2 right away, cause I was very convinced about the description of the kit. Already a couple days after ordering I received the kit. Super fast delivery from Poland to Germany!! I was kind of excited while opening the Bluesound Node 130, though, but due to the excellent description from PD the exchange of the power pcb inside Node was no problem at all. I was very excited at the first test whether the sound would really improve. While listening to the first pieces of music I was profoundly astonished how the sound was improved vastly. It seemed that you listen to a complete new device! The music, the base, the localisation, the depth became so much clearer. It‘s hard to tell you by words, but this investment was the best I ever did. PD Creative made an excellent job, thank you Pawel very much.

Nach der nicht schweren Installation habe ich gleich einen Test gemacht. Es war einfach verblüffend! Ich dachte es spielt ein anderer, viel hochwertiger Streamer als mein Node X. Der Bass hat nun viel mehr Druck. Die Stimmen sind klarer, der Raum größer. Alles hat mehr Fundament. Ich bereue keinen Cent. Perfekt gemacht, danke Pavel 🙋🏻‍♂️👍🏻

Someone already said it very well but I have to repeat. With this I did not just get better and tighter lows, clearer mids and highs without sound getting harsh. Music get conveyed in easier way. Everything is more fluid and natural. This is my second linear power supply from PD Creative and I am again blown away how much of positive impact these device has. I use it on my second system streaming from Bluesound Node 130 to Devialet 220 Pro CI then to Dynaudio Confidence C2. If you own Bluesound node and want better sound do not waste money on more expensive streamer. Bluesound Node is excellent streamer with great software. This power supply will bring it to the level you have not even imagined it could go to.

Have converted the Bluesound Node 130 with the power supply. The following is my experience:
Fast delivery in perfect packaging. Installation was done very quickly and easily. The biggest challenge was closing the case. Node connected to HiFi system via RCA and switched on. Bad and disappointing. Flat sound, muddy bass, much quieter than the original power supply. This is no fun now. Then connected a pair of headphones to the Node, music on and forgot about the streamer for 48h.
The power supply apparently needs a decent break-in time. After 48h, a spacious, open and clear sound image is revealed. The bass is superb, the trebles well-defined. Voices are much clearer, and the volume is as usual.
That’s unheard of! Should the power supply upgrade the sound of the Node so much?
I have a second Node in my office. Connected to hi-fi system, identical cabling, same music material. Comparison test is clear. The modified Node plays in a higher league.
Cross-check in the office: both nodes connected, but here via digital RCA.
Here, too, the modified node wins. But the difference is not as serious as the one via the analog RCA output.
Conclusion:
First-class and valuable power supply. Absolutely recommendable. My deepest respect to Pawel Dybal.

Am 19.07.23 habe ich das BLUESOUND NODE, NODE X – SUPER LOW-NOISE PSU UPGRADE KIT V2 bestellt. Am 24.07.23 ist es per UPS bei mir eingetroffen. Die Verpackung war profimäßig. Das Öffnen des Node X sowie der Ausbau (original Platine) und der Einbau (neue Platine) gelingen dank beiliegender Anleitung leicht. Das Schließen des Node X ist eine weit größere Herausforderung.
Der erste Song wird abgespielt, und man denkt, man hat ein anderes Gerät angeschlossen. Mehr Bass, mehr Tiefe und Räumlichkeit. Das macht Spaß.
Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
Auch die Abwicklung des Geschäftsvorganges war vorbildlich.

Just upgraded my Node X, and the improvement is absolutely transformational. Connected directly to ATC SCM40a active speakers, every part of the performance has been improved. I cannot believe the level of realism that the upgrade has unlocked, and I cannot recommend this upgrade highly enough.

(N.B. As my children will confirm, I’m truly abysmal with anything practical / vaguely DIY related, but installation was completely painless. Undoing 9 screws and putting back 7 is even in my wheelhouse.

I installed the hole kit on my N130 one week ago. Wow! My Audio Physics Scorpio together with Primare pre 30 and Primare A 30.2 are blooming. I’m very satisfied with the upgrade. It’s worth every penny!

Just upgraded my Node N130 with the board and the linear PSU kit. The improvement is not subtle, it’s a night and day difference. It’s a significant upgrade of the internal DAC with a great improvement of soundstage, details, tight bass and blackness, even before the recommended burn-in hours. I can highly recommend this upgrade to the already decent N130 built-in DAC.

I received my Bluesound Node 2021 (gen.3) upgrade kit – super low noise PSU + interface yesterday. Payment and delivery via UPS were perfect.
Receiving the package, unpacking and installing took me about one hour. The install -manual is good and everything worked fine.
After switching on the upgraded unit, my first impression was a noticeable improve of overall clarity, definition and spationess.
I am using the Bluesond plugged in directly into an Ayon Crossfire II (MQA) or via digital output into a Naim NDX (as Roon – Bridge).
In my opinion the upgrade – kit is highly recommendable.

I upgraded my N130 three days ago. It took me just 15 minutes, thanks to the clear instructions.

Immediately the highs and mids were clearer and the bass was tighter. I listen digitally via coax. I expect the sound to improve further after the break-in period as described in the instructions.

I got so supriced by this upgrade kit.
This kit fixed all my issues with low bass. No i can finally enjoy my stereo to the fullest without issues.
The Node was the weakest link and now its perfect. This is just after 1 day of running.
Im assuming it will only get better.

I can now hear details in songs that i dident hear before. It layers the music beautifully.
Node goes to external nos tube dac with spdif. Havent tried it without dac.

First Impressions:
Just upgraded my Node N130 with the linear PSU kit 3 days ago and I am amazed at the sound change – sound stage widened to encompass the whole room, clarity and dynamics are at another level, digital harshness and the plastic, congested sound of the Node are gone. No more fatigue during longer listening sessions, I can finally just lay down and enjoy the music without touching the EQ settings.

All abovementioned effects are noticed while streaming from Tidal to the Node using the RCA analogue out with Bluos tone controls off to RCA input of Edifier S3000 Pro active speakers. RCA interconnect used – YYTCG HIFI Dual Gold Plated RCA Signal Cable with 6N OCC Copper Core + 6N OCC silver plated nerve wire.

Świetny upgrade. U mnie Bluesound podłączony jest do DAC. Dźwięk jest bardziej klarowny, zyskał precyzję oraz otwartość w każdym paśmie a w szególności zaskoczyły mnie niskie tony. Już nosiłem się z zamiarem zmiany kolumn ale teraz jestem zachwycony. Jeśli jesteś posiadaczem BN i szukasz ulepszenia w systemie to zamiast dawać naciągać się producentom kosmicznie drogich kabli, które nic nie wnoszą – kup sobie ten zajebiście dobry zestaw z zasilaczem liniowym. Dziękuję i pozdrawiam serdecznie.

Purchased your kit using PayPal and it arrived as described, well packaged and with all the bits required to do the upgrade.
About 15 minutes later and the Bluesound Node 130 was plugged back into the DDC and then the DAC.
The sound is definitely better. The backgrounds are much blacker, and the separation and decay are more pronounced.

Paket kam heute an, sehr gut verpackt mit übersichtlicher Bauanleitung und Messprotokoll der PSU. Nach ca. 20min war alles verbaut und der N130 wieder angeschlossen. Was soll ich sagen? Wow! Für jemanden, der es analytisch und klar in den Höhen mag ein Fest. Der Bass? Viel kontrollierter. Die Tiefenstaffelung hat sich eindeutig verbessert, die Breite der Bühne blieb etwa gleich. Alles, was mir vorher an meiner Anlage gefallen hat, wurde nochmals etwas besser.

Es brauchte eine Einspielzeit von ca. 1 Stunde bis der Klang runder wurde. Zumindest kam es mir so vor.

Nachdem ich bei Bestellung eher kritisch war, bin ich jetzt eindeutig positiv überrascht.

I have been very sceptical about streaming music and somewhat still is. My main listing comes from vinyl records and CD/SACD played through a well built system that aims to deliver music in a realistic way, mainly I listen to Classical music and Jazz.

Digital music beyond CD and SACD seemed to me a nonstarter particularly because this industry could not unify playback format, so many permutations that are not compatible with each other.

Recently it has become apparent that I would need to stream music, several recordings I would like to explore are on longer available expect in the used market at ridiculously high prices so I took a Qobuz plane and bought a Bluesound Node 3 to experiment, I new the Node will not ingrate well within my system but I need a datum point. The Node inbuilt DAC was miles away from the music made by my CD of the same recordings, listening to the Node via my DAC connected via USB improved the sound substantially but still no CD quality. 100 hours later on the Node sound has further improved.

I came across PD Creative linear power supply through Hans Beekhuyzen YouTube Channel , I placed an order and 48 hours later delivery to London, went through the installation and powered up, what an immediate revelation this was, nothing subtle, a major improvement in the lower and middle frequencies and some improvement in the highs. The sound stage has improved but most of all in the vocals, a very recent release of Fatma Said’s Kaleidoscope recital was so interesting, track one places her in the middle of the room but as she sang she was moving her head form left to right I could not believe that the Node powered up by the PD PSU could deliver this so accurately considering the cost is £250.00 including tax and delivery.

A highly recommended PSU if you have a Node ora bought to venture into one I highly recommend you have a close look at this Power Supply.

The description of the change to the sound as ‘significant’ is an understatement in my opinion.

This kit raises the performance level such that any fatiguing effects are now gone, resolution and detail are lifted to a whole new level and the dynamics are improved – all at the same time!

Highly recommended based upon my purchasing experience.
